Greetings
Hello, and welcome to Professor Weigo's Lab: the first webcomic about a mad scientist. And by "first," I probably mean
three hundredth or so. It is the first one about a mad scientist who's a tenured faculty member at a major university
who's name happens to be Weigo however. Probably. Anyways, I'm planning to udpate m/w/f, but we'll see how long I stick to that.
I may have to switch to two days a week at some point because I'm a busy man with all kinds of important stuff to do all the time.
On the bright side, I already have a solid metric handful of strips done, so I should be fine for updating for a while. What happened was
I started drawing strips before I had the webpage done, and it wound up taking a really long time to get the page together. My plan was to do
everything with php (as you can no doubt see) but it turned out I didn't know any php. I frankly just assumed I knew it, but then I tried to code
and realized I might have to learn it or something dumb like that. As far as I can tell, everything is finally working, and I really like
how it functions. I've tried using all html pages for comics before and it was a real hassle to update and almost impossible to change the page
layout etc. But now it takes me 15 seconds tops to update, and the site layout improves itself continuously without any intervention from me at
all*. At any rate, feel free to test all of the various links and buttons on the page and let me know if you
find something broken.
See you Wednesday.
